Trump's tweets this morning seem particularly jarring. As Mrs. Bush's funeral begins, he extends thoughts and prayers to the Bush family. But just a few hours ago lashed out about a NYT story and threw out insults like "drunk/drugged up loser."

Trump doesn't lash out- he belittles. Trump needs to belittle stronger people to bring them down to his level. A strong person lashes out. A weak person belittles. These were wise words from my grandmother that I carry to this day.
