The White House confirms NSC Director Michael Anton is leaving. The President called Anton today and thanked him for his service. Tomorrow is NSC Director John Bolton's first day on the job.

Has Bolton already been confirmed?
Bolton doesn't need a confirmation by the Senate to be NSC Director, POTUS can just appoint someone (McMaster however had needed confirmation from the Senate because of his status as a general)
