Everyone saying it was their fault, they knew he had firearms since the first time he entered the house. But since they aren't legal guardians & he's an adult, they can't really tell him what to do. What they did do was tell him to take the gun from the safe w/ their permission.

This family should be he’s partially liable. Cruz was reported multiple times about his behavior and for erratic behavior with a gun outside of their house. The family knew his behavior and did not secure their weapons. Ticking time bomb situation
