John Cornyn is my senator. I used to think he was someone I respectfully disagreed with. Over the last year he has revealed his true character and I am appalled at how vile he really is.
Slight change of tune tonight from @JohnCornyn after coming out of McConnell’s office: “We’ll continue to talk...but I’m more optimistic.” Earlier he said shut down tomorrow was likely.
