I have had no idea what Trump is talking about until now. I was completely unaware of this, at all, until he tweeted about it. Now, I'm aware of his screwup, because he told the world.

@realDonaldTrump lie about it when we all saw and heard him make the flub? That's the issue. Just another indication of his mental instability & another sign he's nucking futz. It’s entirely plausible that he would have flubbed a name. His explanation is far less believable — and this president lies as a matter of habit. Scream and pull your hair out about that — not about the Press’s attention to it.

Better yet, scream and holler about the state we’re in, where a president’s outlandish behavior could become so routine that his strained explanation for the gaffe (“to save time and words”) seems insignificant.
