So spend $5 billion unnecessarily, that could better be used elsewhere, just to give that spoiled brat his own way? So when he loses the 2020 election but refuses to leave, we give in to him then too. Don’t kid yourself, since he took office this country has become an autocracy.

Ma'am, why are you twisting his words just to portray him as inconsistent? He clearly said he "does not want to" call an emergency, that "congress should do it" and he WILL still call the emergency it they refuse. He has always said this. Less activism and more reporting, please.

Seems funny that we got people in the military fighting to keep us safe overseas yet here we open our borders and just let anybody in

If a state of emergency exist, by all means, declare one. If you are not going to declare one, then it obviously doesn’t exist. You don’t have a RIGHT to declare a state of emergency. What you have is the RESPONSIBILITY to declare one when it exist. #RIGHTSvsRESPONSIBILITIES

Of course not he has Federal Employees on the brink of financial disaster, some suffering severe depression over the shutdown, marriages and other relationships crumbling over the shutdown. Lawmakers don't care about the toll it's taking on us!!!!!

There is two parties to blame for this. US govt spends 500 million per hour, he made counter offer of 2.5 billion, they said no. It's what goverment spends in 5 hours. It's not a lot of money. Dems should have approved 2.5 n gov't would have been open already. let's blame Trump
