Well, I'm far from sure this is a bad thing. The last time there were extensive structural renovations in the WH, Harry Truman was President. Buildings that age require substantial maintenance & upkeep, and the demands put on this structure are particularly high.

That comes out of money designated for upkeep for the Mansion that Congress appropriaties every year. The Mansion is a National Landmark And needs regular upkeep and repairs (its an old building!). It has little to do with Idiot Boy. All renovations have to be approved by the

What renovations? Didn’t they finish them about two years ago? What are they doing and why?

The White House undergoes regular repairs every year. It’s a really old building and it needs constant upkeep. And, because it’s a National Landmark and Museum, it’s gets regular renovations. The Eisenhower building is also getting repaired.
