I see your point 100%, but what stood out most for me is that the daily intelligence briefing isn't until just before noon. Most of the workday has already passed them by. My two decades as an Infantry & Intelligence soldier tells me that his staff manages him. Trump runs little.

Convenient, considering the Gold Star family names will doubtless be kept confidential to protect their privacy. Is this going another incident like when he called "virtually all the gold star families"...except by weird chance many who were asked if they'd been called?
