While this fish wasn't caught during the Derby, congratulations go to Thomas Knight of Center Harbor, who caught this 37.65 pound Lake Trout through the ice of Big Diamond Pond. This monster obliterated the previous state record for of 28 pounds for the species. Well done Sir!

Did anyone notice during the Derby that North Woods Law was on-ice filming for their upcoming season, and the BBC was there filming... I don't think they have "ice fishing" in England!
