Prosecutors have to decide if/how to prosecute police officers. How can the public trust those decisions when those prosecutors also take money from police unions?

Decisions like these tend to be really opaque to the general public. It’s simpler not to look into blatant conflicts of interest like that because we don’t want to believe they’re legal. Thank you for bringing this to light, @chesaboudin!
