This exactly, you can’t reform this & our mayors give extra $ to cops as platform promises, like it will stop their abuses. More officers, extra training & “special needs registries” esp won’t do it when the training & programs are also run by former/current leos w/o regulation.

Same, I used to work at a L0wes and that's what they told us to do for the snacks by the registers. 💀 Some of those little bags of chips were like a year past expiration date but we'd get in trouble for throwing them out -- unless a customer brought it up, of course. Ugh.

If a passerby can identify a mental health issue, yet cops still get violent w those in the midst of a crisis- why are Police in the US creating disabled people registries? There’s no difference in the policing from any other brutal response when disabled are targeted by cops.
