well i sit here in the middle of the bay area delivering food to all the start ups. they eat real well on investor money. then they got bust (lime bike) or they do the IPO thing which I don't get since none of these guys showed a profit. and why did they not show a profit?

either a bad business model or they mishandled the biz. i saw the money thrown out the window with the doordash robot nonsense. seriously no idea how anybody would ever think that could have worked. and why would anybody buy stock in an unprofitable company?

they start with investor money and they pay really well. they got lots of drivers although the turnover has always been insane. then the money dries up. too many drivers. pay goes to crap. even with all that though, some still do really well. we wouldn't do it otherwise!
