Mumbai police are testing "The Punishing Signal": the more motorists honk, the longer they will have to wait at traffic signals as the signal won’t turn green unless the decibel level is below 85dB.

Inconvenience for many just for stupidity of few. Firstly Mumbai traffic is already pretty much fucked up whether its Elphinstone signal or sakinaka signal. Secondly, people start honking once signal have turned green in a rush to cross.
