trying to hang shelves on a plaster wall is extremely stressful for my little brain
The only 1/2” drill bits I have are for wood — since i’m ordering anyhow, internets recommended masonry for plaster

Sadly the largest masonry bit I have is 3/8" but I have .5" in wood/metal I can lend u. Plus some toggle bolts I think. Lemme know.

i’ve got the toggles, wouldn’t mind borrowing the 1/2” bit if you’re not worried that the plaster will dull it too quickly!

You can almost cert. use a regular bit :) Masonry bits are for concrete/brick and usually are used with a hammer drill.
