sob. for years qtcurve has dutifully kept gtk and qt looking the same, but with qt5 and gtk3 it's all starting to come undone

i now have at least four completely incompatible GUI toolkits on my system also vlc looks like unthemed ass now and it's still qt4, wtf

ok there's "breeze", the new default qt5 theme the qt5 version ignores my system font, qt4 does not the gtk clone looks nothing like it cool

also the system settings component for changing the gtk theme is silently not working so i have to use the one from LXDE instead lol
