@mendel DSL or cable? IIRC cable modems natively use 188 byte packets
my home internet connection right now: 50-byte packets go through, 200-byte get ~50% packet loss, >500-byte get close to 100% >_<

@supersat Cable, but that would be awfully small, Ethernet MTU is 1500 bytes.. oh, hm, 188 is digital TV over cable. coincidence I think - 3 more replies
