it's maddening that Amazon doesn't let you do more with Kindle highlights. why is there no RSS, IFTTT, API in general?

they haven't even made it easy to share your saved quotes, link to your notes for a book, etc. Kindle is the saddest online profile ever.

when i bought my Kindle, i thought it would be a no-brainer to tweet a quote or auto-post saved highlights to Tumblr. so weirdly limited.

@wirehead2501 yeah, agreed. i’ve been wondering if Kobo is any better (esp. since it’s easy to de-DRM then convert Kindle books).
