The reason I haven't implemented a ticketing system for student emails is half hassle, half some sense of maintaining a personal touch.
@cliotropic when I was the single sysadmin at a 14-person company I had ticketing! auto responses impersonal, ticketing itself is fine

@mendel part of what I want is email routing, so I can just dump all student mail into ticket system and then process it separately. -
@cliotropic mm and it probably needs to be your standard school email address too, that’s tricky
