@CouncillorTom No, they enforced the MCOIA. Once voted in you still have to be aware of and follow the rules, otherwise why have them?

@mendel the code of ethics was violated for sure, i was surprised a judge would remove him from office -
@CouncillorTom Once Ford was found guilty of breaking the MCOIA, the judge didn't have a choice, the penalty is prescribed in the law

@mendel I agree, and we are made very aware of the rules. I believe the judge may have had some discretion avail, for a slap on the wrist -
