Confusing reply from an ISP: “You can use IPv6 if you wish but we do not currently support it.” Uh.
Update: It is, as always, 100% dependent on the “incumbent carrier” aka Rogers, and differs POP to POP maybe so there is Uncertainty, but someone’s looking into it because I asked on reddit instead of in email :D

Further update: I now have two “you can try it”, one “we don’t hand out addresses”, three customer reports of it working, plus a 2012 announcement of all dual-stack and a 2016 invite for their ipv6 beta if they don’t support ipv6, ok - but it bothers me that no-one can tell me!

I once had: Me: I’m having trouble sending mail, are you blocking port 25? What other ports to you block? ISP: We _DO NOT_ block any ports Me: So I should be able to send mail using my own mail server? ISP: For spam purposes we block anything on port 25 except to our server.
