Where the heck did Germs Be Gone! come from? Did someone _start a new hand sanitizer company_ at the start of the pandemic?
huh, there was an abandoned trademark application for 2007 for “Germs Be Gone!”, interesting. https://www.ic.gc.ca/app/opic-cipo/trdmrks/srch/viewTrademark?id=1362074&lang=eng&tab=reg&posNum=1&length=25&start=0 …

background for the rest of the world: purell, etc are all but disappeared here in Toronto, and everyone that has hand sanitizer for sale seems to have this “Germs Be Gone!” brand that I’ve never seen before. It’s not gouging pricing but it’s more expensive than you’d expect.

so nothing suspicious, just… where’d this come from? looks like it’s made by these folks. https://brandsicorp.com/ so I guess they must’ve just been in a good spot to turn production towards hand sanitizer when this thing hit, lucky!
