If the bottom of the DoorDash listing says "Prices on this menu are set directly by the Merchant" then you're all good, the restaurant is in on the deal and provided the menu and pricing themselves. Order away! 2/6

But if the bottom says "Menu prices for this store are estimated" then the restaurant does not know this is going on. Like this one, which changed owners months ago and is closed for renos/COVID, but shows as "newly added" to DoorDash: 3/6pic.twitter.com/6dfEs1kzm5

I think DoorDash just walks in like a normal customer at these restaurants, and doesn't let on that the restaurant hasn't partnered with them. 4/6 Other red flags, especially in combination:
No menu photos
No descriptions on menu items
No reviews

They've added a lot of these recently, probably because of COVID-19 demand, and their quality control is shit, as you can see here. Anyhow, if a restaurant chooses to partner with DoorDash, great, that's their call, but look for those "estimated prices" and stay away. 5/6pic.twitter.com/XO97UEk45p

I have no idea if the other delivery companies do this. You can always call up the restaurant and ask who delivers, or even order directly for pickup if you can do so safely, which means more $ for the local business. Enjoy your food, and wash your hands! 6/6
