My working-from-home tip for those who are new to it: remember to eat lunch. Personally, it’s very easy for me to get absorbed in a task and forget to eat until like 3 p.m., and it’s not a great strategy. If you’re a snacker, keep snacks around that help you focus.

I don’t mean this in a food shaming or dieting way, but you know how some foods make you tired? Try not to have those around! That’s all. Does anyone want my protein smoothie recipe, it’s what I eat for lunch every day

Okay here’s my recipe!! In the blender cup, in this order: 2 ice cubes 140 grams frozen fruit* Splash of juice or other liquid** 170 g nonfat plain Greek yogurt 30 g hemp hearts 2 tsp fiber powder (optional but good for your heart and poops) 20 g honey Blend it up!

This has 26 grams of protein! *i like mango or a combo of mango/pineapple/passion fruit/etc. You can get a big bag of a blend for pretty cheap at such as Target **I use orange juice, just enough to thin it out and make it drinkable through a straw. Almond milk works too

To make this go faster, when I bring the frozen fruit home, I divide it up into 140-gram portions in baggies. I’m never more than like four minutes away from a smoothie!

Also hemp hearts are magic. 30 grams is 3 tablespoons and it’s TEN GRAMS of protein. Some people don’t like the taste, but I think it’s a nice mild nutty flavor, like a pine nut maybe? You can get a big bag at TJs, Whole Foods, etc. Store them in the fridge for freshness.
