cool, a (small) PR of mine made it into the AWS terraform provider, I think that’s my first public contribution in Go.
Hm, I prefer it to C, but I’d rather work in Python or Ruby. Terraform Go is a weird dialect too. I’ve done some in-house bug fixes and stuff (we’re not a Go shop but a previous iteration of the team had some fans), I think the challenge there is that it wasn’t very idiomatic Go

(Yay Ruby!) I prefer Go to C as well, but it's not nearly as nice as Ruby, in my opinion. Imagine if Go had Ruby's syntactic sugar and was still strongly typed. Ahh... if only.
