Our cats are mad at each other (redirected aggression, TWICE, sigh) and so we have them separated and taking turns in the office BUT both of them yell when they get bored. HEY CAT IN A ROOM YOU LEFT A CAT IN HERE FYI CAT LOCKED IN this would be much easier without the guilt

Oh, Carmen had that as an extension of some anxiety issues. :( But she took it out on the humans, never on Lily or Moxley.

total opposite here — the other day stacey was growly at stella, and i picked her up to put her in The Room, and she just kind of went limp, like she knew the game was up. she NEVER lets us pick her up

While none of it is fun, if you can just pick one up and separate them early on, it is a little easier. Do you have Feliway diffusers or Rescue Remedy?

yeah, we’ve got a couple Feliway Friends burning. They’ll be ok, it’s their dumb little feral brains kicking in (esp. since we’ve had _multiple_ street cat visitors on the porch to get them agitated…)

Oh yes, feral visitors will certainly do it. Hopefully things will calm down soon, cause it's no fun to be yelling, "YOU IDIOTS ARE BEST FRIENDS!"
