btw, if you’re using rbenv/rvm, tfenv, pyenv, etc. you should definitely check out asdf

At the time I was first directed to install and use asdf, I didn't understand what problem it was solving and what I wanted it to do. There was a lot of terminology I didn't know between asdf and elixir's hex mix docs.

Ah, I see. Also it’s a terrible name! I too had no idea what it did for the first little while, and going “oh, I can use this instead of rbenv" was lucky for me compared to “this is an obscure part of the elixir ecosystem”

I like the idea of one thing that does all of this stuff though AND the idea of no-one ever using rvm ever again though making rvm and rbenv sound the same was a terrible idea! (rvm was also a terrible idea)
