*deep breath* this is an ops tool. is it too much to ask that there are reasonable error messages like "oh hey we changed the format, here's a link" you can LITERALLY CATCH ERRORS IN CODE I KNOW THIS IS POSSIBLE

to be clear, i really do love puppet a lot. i think it's a great tool, and it's my preferred automation environment. i just wish that bolt was held to the same standard as the rest of their code base. :\
