I'm kind of surprised I lasted this long without needing to deal with VPCs & subnets! Sadly that reign ends today

All I wanted was for AWS to run a f fargate container for me. If I wanted to mess with VPCs and all this crap I would just have just spun up an EC2 instance myself

I was skeptical of Heroku's business (pricing) model with the availability of Fargate and other managed systems. I understand now. They'll never go out of business.

I think you can for_each it too, but for_each didn’t work with empty sets until September (0.12.9) so it might not be popular in third-party stuff yet
