So, I’m on the @WestJet 10:00am flight from Toronto to Las Vegas. Guess how that’s planning out? It’s 11:45 and we’re being told we are #20 in line for de-icing at @TorontoPearson. This is a joke.

Well, it's still better than skipping de-icing and cratering at the end of the runway... But if it was not for the dramatic increase in flight demand, airports wouldn't struggle as much as they do now.

The fundamental issue I have is this: The “pack ‘em in, then wait 45 mins to tell them it’ll be another hour” method isn’t helpful.
