Why do people say "let me Google that for you in a snotty way"? Why don't they just answer the question? Well, because when you treat another person like your personal Google server, you're stating, intentionally or not, that their time is worth less than yours.

It takes the same amount of time to type "what is a Maine Coon" into Google as it does to type it into Twitter, and the answer you get will be less focused on my personal cats.
