@shiffman is beyond #1, no equal, way ahead of the rest of the pack. After that, it depends on what field they’re moving into. General creative coding? Easy: P5 + Nature of Code. Sound/Hacking? PD + Arduino + Nick Collins. Simulation? I have yet to find my Shiffman. Unity + ???? -
Glad you agree :) (P.S. I think once you've decided what tool(s) to use, it's easier to find resources. But for complete beginners, they might not know where to begin looking, or even what questions to ask. For Unity there's a lot of grt stuff out there eg
