I understand if one needs to take a leave of absence but I greatly appreciate it if they notify me beforehand as opposed to disappearing all of a sudden.

I was referred to him by a member of my dev team, but generally when I make recruitment posts I state that I require motivation, reliability, and proactivity to reduce any possibility that a team member will go AWOL.

*begin rant* It appears my audio engineer who's supposed to clean up DSLLS's voice files went AWOL b/c it's been like a week and a half since my last message to him. =/ Feeling pretty peeved as I've inquired about his services months before work was to be done. #vndev

Had quite a bit of fun playing all day yesterday, hope it doesn't distract me too much from vndev work, ahaha ^^;

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone, that means lots! ^_^ Bought myself a new mouse + a 1TB SSD and just started playing Genshin yesterday - playing this on a mid-range i5-9400F and a GTX 1650 Super + high settings and runs very smoothly (60 FPS I think) ^^

This "initializing renpy static data" at the bottom of vscode is super annoying, it's been stuck like that for months - even reinstalling the renpy plugin / updating VS code doesn't work, like WTH x_x #renpy #vndev

Just curious: If you browsed through my sites you'd find out my (and Cafe Memoria's protag's) name is Ryne, which is often mispronounced - correct pronunciation is "rhine" as in "Rhine River". ^^ But how did you all pronounce it upon first seeing it? (comment for other) #poll

Why is it whenever you want to do something that's relatively simple in #renpy it ends up being a massive headache? All I want to do is fade while shaking the screen simultaneously - I'm surprised this doesn't work, it just fades but doesn't vpunch x_x; #vndev

I considered creating a puzzle game involving the Cafe Memoria characters years ago, but that never really took off - it's only just a Word doc with just a rough outline of the game. But who knows, I might consider revisiting it someday ^^

I must admit, VN development is far easier than coding a Tetris clone🙃 I mean, I've tried my hands at coding the latter in the past and it's deceptively complex, ahaha. ^^;

Don't like doing this, but looks like Luna will have to be recast since her original VA (from DSRM) seemingly disappeared... sent a couple messages, no response =/ Planning to have a "quick and dirty" casting call (lasting a week) hopefully starting next Monday at the earliest!
