If anyone out there had any doubts about what a person in power can do to a career read this piece by Linda Bloodworth Thomason "People asked me for years, “Where have you been? What happened to you?” Les Moonves happened to me."https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/designing-women-creator-les-moonves-not-all-harassment-is-sexual-1142448?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=THR%27s%20Today%20in%20Entertainment_now_2018-09-12%2007:08:49_wrobinson&utm_term=hollywoodreporter_tie …

And for folks who wonder why there seem to be so many shows on @cbs where women are dead and mutilated, the answer has always been clear, the place was run by a minsogynst and it filtered down everywhere.

Given Moonves's undisputed successful track record, he may have been smart not to do business with Thomason. Maybe her other work sucked. Recent troubling revelations do not negate his track record and programming judgment. LBT is trying to connect the two to explain her failure.

This is the 2nd time I’ve read this article by Thomason. I was a teenager in the 8o’s lucky to grown up watching strong characters on Designing Women, Murphy Brown, Cagney/Lacey. Designing Women was so ahead of its time, it was brilliantly written and then it was just gone.

Julie screwed Moonves while he was still married to his wife of 25 years. He divorced his wife and married Julie 13 days later. She’s no friend to women. Also, see Janet Jackson.

And this wasn't some neophyte looking for a break. Linda Bloodworth Thomason made millions and millions of dollars for the company Moonves ran.

Designing Women was the best. Rot, Les Moonves. Rot from the inside in the most painful, incurable, slow way. And that goes for all the rest of you similar creeps!
