Great op ed Melissa! Tom Rice is a rich man's rep. The lack of Medicaid Expansion lead to a hospital closing in District 7 & many w/o healthcare during a pandemic. As good jobs leave SC the rich he represents are fine w/most in District 7 working multiple minimum wage jobs.

He voted against increasing minimum wage because it benefits his wealthy elite. He also is for government voucher school sponsorship with our tax dollars & dismantling public education, because his wealthy donors send their kids to high price, largely segregated, private schools!
