Many don't have local hospitals, transportation, live in food deserts, work in less than desirable jobs, lack affordable high-speed internet (for telemedicine, working from home, news, education, etc.) & many lack basic infrastructure/for evacuation & early warning during storms.

Poor access to testing, treatment, & poor health due to diet & lack of medical care translate into obesity/poor immune systems ripe for

This is just one reason I continue to support public education! It is one way to level the playing field. There should not be a corridor of shame in any state. Do you think it's' because of lack of notifications too? I see areas around me that have a higher number of Black/Brown people, and they just don't seem to know about what they should do and not do.
