I remember the2015 1000yrs flood in Columbia, SC. Since then we have had some nasty storms that have worried me too, & we are inland. Dams broke, trees toppled over, & there wasn't a
of water you could drink. Global warming is definitely a factor w/the worsening of these storms!pic.twitter.com/IsXVKzdwrt
Once you live through it, you are never the same. You go to the affected areas and remember where the water levels were. It is scary.

I lost everything in an apartment fire yrs ago. It definitely is not something you ever get over. We had a twister cut through our neighborhood a year ago. I will never forget the sound & the destruction!
