I guess when you live in Washington, DC... you forget what it is like when it rains. Maybe if you don’t live here or don’t know anything about 1-95 or the Grand Strand you do not care. When I woke up this morning these are the images I imagined again.

Rain shouldn’t trigger trauma, but for many people it does EVERY SINGLE TIME. If it makes me anxious, I can only imagine what It does for people who live in flood zones next to the rivers they love and hate. Be calm rivers. Be calm.

I remember the2015 1000yrs flood in Columbia, SC. Since then we have had some nasty storms that have worried me too, & we are inland. Dams broke, trees toppled over, & there wasn't a

I remember the 1000yrs flood in Columbia, SC. A tree landed on our home during the storms. Many are still recovering to this day. It brought back memories of the Teton Dam Disaster in 1976. So many lives devestated out in Idaho where I was living as a child. Lots of flooding PTSD
