It’s been two years since 17 lives were senselessly taken in Parkland and the Senate still has not passed meaningful gun violence prevention legislation. My heart goes out to the #Parkland community on this difficult day. It’s time for leaders to act.

McConnell is sitting on approximately 364 bills, many passed in the House on a bipartisan basis. This is unacceptable. Senate majority leader has to be voted out if we are to have a working Congress.

I couldn't agree more! Bipartisan is key. I'm running as a Democrat, but I'm not against people in the red party. It's the national GOP-controlled Senate NOT doing their job. There's no excuse for their inactivity on gun reform. We're all human, and NONE of us are bulletproof.
