    There’s a story in my book about the time I interviewed Sir David Attenborough as it was coincidentally the day I announced my pregnancy at work at 18 weeks - he wished me luck. I got this through my letterbox yesterday 🤩🥰

    BBC journalism trainee scheme rejections are coming through - don’t let it knock you, I got rejected the two times I applied before even getting past the first stage, and then I applied for an entry level role and got it and ✨ couldn’t believe it ✨

    My four year old is already complaining about gendered language. 'Why is X calling me a boy?' she just asked, in response to the Dutch 'hey jongens' which translates to 'hey boys' but is used like we do 'hey guys'. 😬

    The is the sort of thing climate change makes more likely, so it would be good if our governments did more to limit warming to 1.5C Current policies will lead to ~2.9C If you add in pledges it’s down to 2.4C Getting there but need more!

    Every year I retweet this piece on how to spot drowning. Last year someone replied saying they’d read my RT the previous year and later rescued a kid. TL;DR: drowning kids usually don’t scream or splash about.
