    Find this line of questioning about ownership vs. subscription to be a little tired. Easy for the majors to argue that on-demand and subscriptions are now the norm. Would be interested to hear their take on models like 's 'stream2own' which blends the two.

    . ask the majors if streaming is a sale, a rental or something else. They are trying to get at the fact that labels pay out as if it’s a sale, when we would say it’s a rental (subject to equitable remuneration) or a licence (and should be paid at 50/50.
