  9. The Federal Government has announced primary producers who have been worst-hit by bushfires can apply for $75,000 in grants. This is especially important to all our local farmers, particularly dairy, who have been doing it very tough of late.

NSW's road toll fell by 35 in 2018 but one person still died almost every day on average with 354 lives lost over the 12 months. Roads Minister said it was "heartening" that the road toll had dropped but warned drivers not to become complacent.

Please listen to the warnings from and this holiday period. We cannot have a repeat of 31 deaths on NSW roads this summer. I’m about to hit the road and I can’t help but think of the 4 members of the Falkholt family who lost their lives last Xmas
