I wrote about how, in Victoria’s prisons, women pay for men’s violence. Please join me in calling on the government to get these women out. Now.

While Norway stacked its oil riches away, Australia allowed itself to be pillaged by a crew of multinational tax avoiders. Time for a sovereign wealth fund

When you run around pretending you’re a proper university educated psychologist for 35 years but in fact your whole professional reputation is based on complete bullshit, that means *lowers sunglasses down bridge of nose* you Arndt qualified

GPs are not qualified, it's bad enough that we need their approval just to access support from - let alone having to deal with outrageous behaviour like this!! Good on you for speaking up. Please update us on the outcome!

At Davos the European Commission flagged a CO2 tax on dirty countries. Fair enough. Another way Oz’s inaction on climate change will be punished. The price of a govt not giving a toss about the environment and society. Nor the economy.

The federal government spent more than $916 million on the youth legal sector in 2018/19, with the majority of money going towards prison costs. What a joke Imagine what communities could do with $916m with and for children who need support not prison 👇🏾

Wow. Barcelona has declared a climate emergency that gets straight to the point: "The current economic model is based on endless growth, consumption & a permanent race for profit. This economic system threatens the ecological balance of our planet & has multiplied inequalities."

A 2019 poll from the found that 61% of respondents want immediate climate action even if that involves significant costs, & 47% prioritize lowering emissions in the power grid (compared to 38% for lowering bills & 15% for reducing blackouts)
