The UK’s national debt has now gone past £2 trillion (£2.17 trillion). The national debt has more than doubled since the Tories came into power in 2010. In 2007, the national debt was 37% of GDP and by 2019 it has rapidly risen to 84% of GDP.

I’m afraid this is simply not true, . In real terms, it equates to an annual percentage increase of 3.4%. Ie: *lower* than the average % increase of 4% since NHS founded in 1948. And *substantially* lower then the 6% increases under Brown & Blair. Facts matter.

Also worth remembering that Netflix doesn't fund it's programme-making through subscription, but from borrowing: it's currently $12.43 BILLION pounds in debt. So we don't know if it's a viable long-term business model yet.

While it is true that there is not much between an EU-UK free trade agreement and not having one from a business preparedness point of view, a real benefit of an FTA will be if it comes with an implementation period, and avoids a cliff edge scenario at the beginning of next year.
