“Stefani says while Boudin’s office won’t release many of the details she’s looking for…” If a supervisor can’t get the details, how can reporters? It’s absurd that @chesaboudin holds this info hostage. If he’s doing a great job, release it.https://www.nbcbayarea.com/investigations/sf-da-chesa-boudin-could-be-forced-to-disclose-how-often-his-office-prosecutes-domestic-violence-offenders/2705199/ …

Replying to @SusanDReynolds @chesaboudin
(1/x) They justify not filing on domestic violence cases bc the victim is often uncooperative. However, you can still prove a DV case w an uncooperative victims. That is not justification for not filing. That’s why we spent decades learning about the cycle of violence.

In fact, it’s the cooperative victim that one should be suspicious of. It’s the same with witnesses. How many kids do you know, even adult kids, that want to testify against abusive mom or dad? That doesn’t mean, you can’t make the case.

It makes Chesa and @GeorgeGascon @LADAOffice policy not to compel people who are properly subpoenaed to court all the more reckless. Serious injury or death from DV will increase.
