And I’m going to delete the tweet and retweet to correct it bc there is no edit feature, but I find your response to undermine any pretense that your purpose is to have an intelligent conversation.

Thank you for the correction. I was really confused for a moment. You seem like an intelligent person.

The point is nothing about what boudin is doing is a new method. And the response to Hallinan that people keep ignoring either intentionally or bc they don’t know the hx of sf politics was tough on crime Kamala

Maybe. I don’t know. It was a hard decision for me as to who to vote for DA. I did finally vote for Boudin and not because I think it is likely his methods will work, but because Criminal Justice in the US is so racist I am willing for my city to be an experiment.

We are far too strong and wealthy for any DA to be able to do lasting damage in four years. It hasn’t really started off well for him, granted.

He has done lasting damage. Even if the recall happens, the damage he has done to that office is going to last at least a decade. That’s not an understatement. It’s ok to have voted for him and realize it’s not going well. Imo, doubling down is worse.

Covid makes comparisons meaningless. The whole country is suffering. Come to Manny’s tonight and celebrate Newsom’s win! I will buy you the first round.
