Homicide and violent crime has increased. Gun violence has increased. Theft has increased. Those are supported by the stats you’re so focused on. George and Chesa have decriminalized a lot of crimes too, which play into other areas where crime has allegedly “decreased.”

Homicide has been on a 50 year decline. You refuse to acknowledge that fact, even though I have presented overwhelming evidence of it. Homicide has increased slightly this last 18 months from a record low in 2019. It is still lower than 5 years ago.

Violent crime shows a similar trajectory, according to the SFPD website. Violent crime overall is down this year, according to the same source.
