What does any of that have to do with what I said? Not only that, but you have no clue who I am or what I’ve experienced, so it’s pretty bold of you to assume such when I’m simply saying that Professor Hessick and Ms. Bazelon *don’t* support prosecutors.

It’s a response to your tweet- what we “say” relates to the struggles of POC impacted by crime. When I say “walk a day” in the shoes of an immigrant in a high crime area, it’s a rejoinder to one who blindly follows critiques of policies without the practical or life experience.

I don’t know what you’ve experienced, but it’s pretty bold of you to assume those who ACTUALLY have practical experiences in the subject matter (and who still support reform) apparently cant critique viewpoints, trends or policies that come from those without said experience.

That’s not even germane, I was correcting a false statement (that they “support” prosecutors). I never said no one can opine. Again, don’t waste my time with bad faith and two dances.

Well…
@larabazelon is a prolific supporter of Chesa Boudin and works at the SFDA’s office.https://www.usfca.edu/newsroom/media-relations/news-releases/lara-aazelon-appointed-to-chair-new-innocence-commission …1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@CBHessick obviously has her priors and while she doesn’t work or campaign for DAs Offices like Bazelon - but she clearly supports policies put forward by those two DAs.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

And the tweet is quoting a story from ACTUAL POC victims who are impacted most by violence.

The first link only confirms Bazelon’s position on an innocence commission. The second statement only entails that she supports certain policies implemented by that DA. Again, they are still both very critical of prosecutors—and my comment was limited to that one statement.

Oh, and just bc one adds the phrase “would love to do a systemic study on this” does not absolve them from also indicating support through this tweet, other tweets, and the exhibited bias in their publications
