A depressing thread. This is something that every lawyer could do something to change. Ours is a self-regulating profession. There is no reason to just accept that state bars will not impose discipline for serious misconduct by prosecutors. Glad to see you deleted the "I don't see you tweeting about North Carolina" tweet. Because it was not only silly, but also wrong. And I understand how immunity works--no need to explain it to me, especially since I am tweeting about professional discipline, not civil liability

And, if you read Lara's tweet, then you'd see that she mentions immunity as the context in which the Supreme Court has said that bar discipline will keep prosecutors from engaging in misconduct. So she also is not arguing that prosecutorial immunity applies in bar discipline
