Kathy Cady's a zealous advocate for her clients. She's also filed versions of this motion in multiple cases. Each has been slapped down by a judge with minimal discussion. Not understanding the "gasp!" factor here.https://twitter.com/LACountyADDA/status/1407480692577947648?s=20 …

The “gasp!” factor is related the alleged statements made by Ms Blair in court and her treatment of the victims. The recall narrative is literally saying Gascón is “on the side of criminals” which seems like hyperbole, but the quotes the motion are an illustration of that claim.

I think the gasp factor is in the detective’s declaration, which btw DDAs have seen her do the same on other cases. Why is talking to the defendant’s mom and not the victim? Why is she telling the defendant’s mom, not to worry, her son will get out? This is a problem.

Why do you assume she hasn't talked to the victim? Because of your assumption that gascons team doesn't care about victims. Which is a double-edged bad assumption

Bc the victim complained about it, hired an Atty, & there is a declaration from a detective. It’s really crazy - you don’t believe the detective, the victim, the Atty for the victim, or other prosecutors that have seen her do the same thing. Why do you assume it didn’t happen?

Depends on what is meant by being "allied with the defendant"? Perhaps the detective and other district attorneys aren't used to someone from the prosecution side having any semblance of thought for those on both sides of the aisle. This is not an ethical rules violation

Ignorant tweet. Both SF and LA have prosecutors that, not only have defense experience, but some have convictions of their own and some have even spent time in custody and this predates @GeorgeGascon @LADAOffice and @chesaboudin @SFDAOffice
