If you'd told me 17 years ago today, as the invasion of Iraq began, that our anti-war side would be tragically vindicated & 17 years later Iraq would still be war-torn but that the Democrats would be nominating a war supporter as their prez nominee...I'd have been lost for words.
100s of 1000s of Iraqis lost their lives as the result of Bush/Cheney/Blair/Howard/Clinton/Biden's war; millions were displaced from their homes. Iraqis continue to lose their lives today from conflict - & from cancers caused by the war. Spare a thought & prayer for them today.

The Dem party had the chance the enact #MedicareForAll, #FreeTuition and other humane policy but they chose instead to completely sell out.
Honestly, I'm not one bit surprised. Aside from LGBTQ and Abortion, the Dem party has been on a rightward trajectory for decades.
Or ... or ... Bernie never built a winning coalition. Perhaps not enough people want him as president. It does seem like a more parsimonious explanation for why he hasn't picked up enough delegates.
